Urban Actors Academy is an educational mentorship model for young actors, high school filmmakers, and industry professionals established to provide programs of collaborative production.

Through the developed curriculum which couples the advancement of social awareness with communicational and literacy skills, Urban Actors Academy provides intensive acting training, workshops and on-set experience. Students gain a rounded knowledge of the creative development process while producing socially responsible content for and about their peers.

Our company has served a number of NYC schools and after-school programs that teach the technology of film production. We offer workshop residencies uniquely tailored to compliment curriculum goals while creating opportunites for industry mentorship, peer to peer networking and professional training.
