I.C.M.A.S. Launched as a collaboration event between Social Cinema, The S.D.A.C.C. and Urban Actors Academy, ICMAS was created to build bridges of support between established and emerging High School and Independent Youth Filmmaking programs, for purpose of collaboration.

The Inner City Media Summit was the launching platform for the implementation of the industry’s CTE (Career and Technical Education) guidelines developed to assist school programs to formalize and produce quality film production sequences. The yearly event promoted and enhanced the skills of youth filmmakers, through the introduction of collegiate and internship opportunities, and industry training for teacher and program facilitators.
